Fleet & multiple vehicles
More than one vehicle? Run it as a fleet.
Fleet leasing is business contract hire applied to several vehicles at once: each one on a fixed monthly rental for an agreed term and mileage, managed as a single requirement rather than a pile of unrelated deals. FleetMe owns the vehicles and carries what they are worth at the end. The agreements are between your business and us.

What changes when you run five vans instead of one
One van is a purchase decision. Five is an operation — and the costs that hurt a fleet are rarely the headline rental. They are the week a van sits waiting for a part, the four vehicles that all come off contract in the same month, and the racking that has to be specified from scratch every single time.
One point of contact
One person who knows your fleet, your specification and your renewal dates — instead of starting the conversation again with every vehicle.
A planned replacement cycle
Vehicles come off contract on dates you chose, not dates that happened. Replacements are ordered to arrive as the outgoing van leaves, so a driver is never stood down.
A standard specification
Agree the racking, the security and the trim once, then repeat it. Drivers move between vehicles without relearning, and the fleet looks like a fleet.
Cost you can forecast
A fixed rental per vehicle for a known term. Add maintenance and servicing, tyres and wear items sit inside the same monthly figure instead of arriving as unplanned invoices.
Getting the replacement cycle right
The replacement cycle is the length of time each vehicle stays before it is handed back, and it is the lever with the biggest effect on a fleet's running cost. Too long and you are paying to keep vehicles past the point where they stop being reliable and start costing you jobs. Too short and you pay for the steepest part of a vehicle's loss in value over and over.
There is no universal right answer — a 30,000-mile-a-year multi-drop van and a 9,000-mile-a-year site van wear out on completely different timetables. What we can do is set your terms and mileages so the fleet turns over in a rhythm you control, with renewal dates deliberately spread rather than bunched. Tell us how the vehicles are actually used and we will build the terms around that.
Fleet leasing by situation
Small fleet leasing
Five vans upward, run as one fleet rather than five separate deals.
Startup fleet leasing
Several vehicles from a standing start, with no filed accounts behind you.
High mileage van leasing
Where the mileage band, not the headline rate, decides the real cost.
Electric van leasing
Electrifying part of the fleet without stranding a driver mid-round.
Courier van leasing
Multi-drop and same-day work, where downtime costs more than the rental.
New business van leasing
A young company taking on more than one vehicle at once.
Fleets by trade
Most fleets are trade fleets, and what the vans need is decided by the work. Each page below covers payload, load length, security and realistic mileage for that trade.
Tell us what the fleet needs to look like
Give us the mix, the terms and the mileages and we will price the whole requirement in one go. Rentals are quoted ex VAT with the VAT-inclusive figure alongside, we confirm everything in writing before you commit, and we will tell you honestly if we cannot help.
Thanks — your enquiry is in.
We’ll go through what you need and come back with a written quote, usually the same working day. Your agreement would be with FleetMe — we supply the vehicle, and we confirm it in writing before anything is agreed.
What happens next
- 1 We read what you sent us. We check the vehicle, the length and the mileage you asked for, and work out what we can do at that specification.
- 2 We come back with a written quote. Usually the same working day. It sets out the vehicle, how long you have it, the mileage, the initial rental and the monthly figure — ex VAT with the VAT-inclusive figure alongside.
- 3 You decide. Nothing is committed until you have that in writing and you are happy to go ahead. If we can’t help, we’ll tell you honestly and say why.
Nothing is committed at this stage, and if we can’t help we’ll tell you honestly rather than leave you waiting.

How many vehicles counts as a fleet?
There is no official threshold, and nothing stops you asking with two. In practice the fleet conversation — a shared specification, staggered renewal dates and a single point of contact — starts earning its keep at around five vehicles.
Do all the vehicles have to be the same?
No. Most fleets are mixed: medium vans for the day-to-day, a large van or Luton for the bigger jobs, sometimes a pickup or a company car. We quote the mix as one requirement rather than making you run several separate conversations.
Can we add vehicles later?
Yes. Each vehicle sits on its own agreement, so a fleet grows one order at a time. We keep your agreed specification on file, which makes the next one quicker to quote.
Should the renewal dates be staggered?
Usually, yes. If every vehicle comes off contract in the same month you face one very large replacement exercise and a single point of exposure. Varying the terms across the fleet spreads that out — it is one of the first things we look at.
Who is the agreement with?
FleetMe. We are the lessor — we own the vehicles and hire them to your business. We confirm each vehicle, term, mileage and monthly rental in writing before anything is signed.
What does a fleet cost?
It depends entirely on the vehicles, the specification, the terms and the mileages, so any headline figure would be meaningless. Tell us the mix and we come back with a written quote covering the whole requirement, quoted ex VAT with the VAT-inclusive figure alongside.
