Is there a clean air zone charge in Cardiff?
No. Cardiff has no charging clean air zone and there is no charging zone anywhere in Wales. Cardiff Council has explored road-user charging but nothing is in place, so check the council for the current position.
Do I pay a toll driving into England?
No. Tolls on the Severn crossings were removed on 17 December 2018 (GOV.UK), so the M4 and M48 crossings are free. Bristol's Class D clean air zone charge can still apply to a non-compliant van once you get there.
