Dedicated and same-day work
Delivered Exactly van leasing
A courier company that is a limited company or LLP leases a van from FleetMe on business contract hire over terms up to 12 months. Dedicated and same-day work varies week to week, so the term and the mileage band matter more here than the headline monthly figure. Self-employed drivers take hire of up to 12 months. FleetMe is not connected to Delivered Exactly.

Is FleetMe part of Delivered Exactly?
Dedicated, same-day and ad-hoc courier work is the hardest kind to write a four-year agreement against, because the one thing you can say about next year is that it will not look exactly like this year. Leasing still works here. It just means choosing the term deliberately rather than by the monthly figure.
Unpredictable work argues for a shorter term
The instinct with a fixed monthly cost is to stretch the term until the figure looks comfortable. On work that varies, that instinct is expensive. A 12-month agreement you exit after four months costs considerably more than a 24-month agreement you complete, because early termination is priced on what is left. Ask what it would cost to end at month 12, 24 and 36 before you sign, and keep the answer somewhere you can find it. A shorter term is the cheaper form of flexibility, and it is available at the start rather than negotiated in a hurry later.
Mileage bands when the week is never the same
Same-day and dedicated work can mean two hundred miles one day and twenty the next, which makes an annual figure feel like a guess. It does not have to be. Take what the business actually did over the last twelve months if you have it, or the last three months multiplied out if you do not, then add a contingency for the work you are hoping to win. Round up sensibly rather than wildly: coming in under your allowance does not normally generate a refund, so a defensive over-buy costs you every month for the whole term. Declare it honestly and the excess rate is agreed in writing at the start.
A general-purpose van beats a specialised one here
When the work is varied, the vehicle that can do most things adequately is worth more than the one that does a single job perfectly. A medium or large panel van with a decent payload, a sensible load length and no unusual body will take on the widest range of jobs and is also the easiest vehicle to re-deploy if the work changes. Resist specifying for the biggest job you have ever done: you pay for that specification every month, however rarely it earns its keep.
What underwriting looks at
A lease of up to 12 months is a longer commitment than a short-term hire, and underwriting looks at the business, its directors and whether the monthly rental is comfortably affordable, not at the round you have been offered. A courier company with a clean payment record behind it gets the most straightforward answer. None of that is a promise of approval, and we will tell you quickly if we cannot help.
The vans we supply for this work
Small, medium and large. Which one fits depends on the round (drop density, parcel size and where you are loading) and that is a conversation, not a filter. Every figure is read from our rate sheet.
Prices are guide figures ex VAT, pictures are illustrations, and nothing here is stock standing on a forecourt. What that means →
How to read these listings
Prices: Monthly rentals shown are guide prices and exclude VAT unless labelled otherwise. They are indicative “from” figures quoted against a 12-month term at the mileage allowance shown for the vehicle, and they move with the exact variant, the mileage, the initial rental and the outcome of underwriting. Last reviewed 1 September 2026. We confirm your actual monthly rental, and what it includes, in writing before anything is agreed.
Images: Vehicle images are computer-generated illustrations of a representative example, not photographs of the vehicle supplied. Exact trim, colour, body length, roof height and equipment vary by specification.
Availability: Listings show the vehicles we can supply, not stock held on site. Specific variants, trim levels, body conversions and delivery dates depend on factory lead times and availability at the time you order, and some vehicles are build-to-order. Nothing is reserved for your business until we confirm it in writing. If we cannot get the exact vehicle you have asked for, we will tell you and set out the closest alternative we can. Delivery is to business addresses in England and Wales, and we confirm the arrangements, the timing and any delivery cost on your quote.
Delivering as a self-employed driver?
You are covered. We supply sole traders too, over terms up to 12 months. You do not need to incorporate first and you do not need filed accounts.
Worth checking before you enquire: the allowance is 2,000 miles a month. Multi-drop rounds often run well past that, and mileage over the allowance is charged, so tell us your weekly mileage and we will be straight with you about whether it works.

Common questions
Is FleetMe connected to Delivered Exactly?
No. We are not connected to, endorsed by or a supplier to Delivered Exactly. We lease vans to courier companies whoever they work with, and their requirements are theirs to confirm with you directly.
What is the shortest lease you offer?
Twelve months for a limited company or LLP on business contract hire. Below that the product is sole trader vehicle hire, which is capped at 24 months and is a different kind of agreement.
What if the work dries up half way through?
The agreement continues, and that is why the term is the most important decision you make. We will tell you at quote stage what early termination would cost at each stage of the agreement, so the risk is a number you have seen rather than one you discover.
Can I add a second van later on the same account?
Yes. Tell us at quote stage if you expect to, and we can look at matching the terms and the renewal dates so the fleet stays manageable rather than becoming a set of unrelated agreements with dates scattered across the year.
