Which MG?
Three MGs, and the choice between them is almost entirely about how the driver charges.
The HS is a five-seat plug-in hybrid with an unusually long electric range for the type, which makes it the cheapest of the three to be taxed on if it is plugged in nightly. The S6 EV is fully electric, so it is cheaper still on benefit-in-kind and has no fuel to buy, but it depends completely on charging being sorted. The S9 is the seven-seater, and the third row is the only reason to pay more than the HS costs.
If nobody is going to charge anything, none of these is the right car and the Corolla estate will serve you better.
